ロゼッタ石碑とは？

so it turns out that i’m not very good at maintaining or keeping up with these, so i decided that i needed a theme or motif to go with this to keep me writing on a regular basis. i figured since this quarter has shown just how bad my writing has become, i should try to at least make a conscious effort to save it from going even further downhill.

moving on, i chose rosetta stone as the theme because it’s something that i associate closely with my life — the discovery of language is also the discovery of culture, and in turn the discovery of self (or at least i would like to believe so). so much in the fashion of the stone itself, i’m going to try to divide my thoughts into three different languages, not only because i can, but because i find it interesting that languages convey different thoughts and meanings when translated into a different language.

単なる言語馬鹿の落書きだと思われるかもしれませんが、「言語」というものは文化、そして人間一人一人のアイデンティティの源であることを思いつつ
多言語の次元から自分の思考を分析してみたいと言うものです。

著者としては期待に応えることができないとおもいますが、
是非その不足さを見逃し一緒に言語の素晴らしさを共感し、嗜むことが本人の願望であり、このブログの目的であります。
